Handy Person job vacancy 

We are currently recruiting a part time Handy Person who will be responsible for keeping Council owned land and facilities clean, safe and operational.

This role will be responsible for litter picking, checking play equipment, undertaking minor repairs to facilities and basic grounds maintenance across various sites in Brockworth.

This role is 15 hours a week, spread over 5 days and the salary is £17,470 (per annum, pro rata)

Tender for CCTV Provision 

Brockworth Parish Council is seeking a professionally qualified and suitably experienced CCTV provider to design, install and deliver a new CCTV system to cover various public facilities in Brockworth, Gloucestershire.

Community Grants now open

We have launched our new community grants scheme, which is open to community groups providing a social, community or environmental benefit to Brockworth and its residents.

Further information is available in our grants policy. If a community group you know could benefit, please download and complete a grant application form. The deadline for applications is Friday 23 October 2020.

Councillor vacancy

Do you have what it takes to serve your community?

Following a resignation, Brockworth Parish Council has a vacancy for a new parish councillor to serve the east ward of Brockworth and is looking to co-opt a new councillor as soon as possible.

If you are passionate about Brockworth, care about the issues it faces and have a few hours a week to play an active part in its future, we would love to hear from you. You must be over 18 years of age, on the electoral role and have lived or worked in Brockworth for the past 12 months to apply.

Brockworth Parish Council community centre and office have been closed to the public but some services are now being re-opened. Find out more about the facilities now available

Parish Council meetings are still being held remotely via Zoom and are open to the public, please go to the latest agenda to see how you can participate. All community events and activities at the community centre are still suspended until further notice as per the notice.

The parish council has a volunteer scheme to collect food or prescriptions - please contact us by phone or email to make arrangements.

We are grateful to the local shops and suppliers that have made home deliveries and click/collect services available to residents. We will update the list as more information becomes available.
